November 2026 has two income-tax return dates for FY 2025-26. Companies and other audited assessees file by Saturday 21 November, after CBDT Circular No. 07/2026 moved their date from 31 October, while assessees with a transfer pricing report keep the statutory Monday 30 November. The same Monday is the last date to claim GST input tax credit on FY 2025-26 invoices. For companies, the annual return after a 30 September AGM falls due on Sunday 29 November, but MCA General Circular No. 05/2026 lets MGT-7 and MGT-7A for FY 2025-26 be filed without additional fee until 31 January 2027. This calendar lists the income-tax, GST, company law, labour and FEMA deadlines for the month, with who must comply and the legal basis for each.
November 2026 at a Glance
Two dates need checking before anything else. The return extension in Circular No. 07/2026 dated 28 September 2026 covers only the persons in S. No. 2 of the Table below Explanation 2 to Section 139(1) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and that entry applies only where Section 92E does not. A company with even one transaction with an associated enterprise therefore files by 30 November, not 21 November. The second date is the GST year-end cut-off: after 30 November 2026, input tax credit missed on a FY 2025-26 invoice is lost, and the same date closes corrections to FY 2025-26 details in GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.

Income Tax & TDS in November 2026
November runs on both income-tax laws, and the year a filing relates to decides which one applies. The returns, transfer pricing filings and return-linked forms for FY 2025-26 (AY 2026-27) stay under the Income-tax Act, 1961 and the Income-tax Rules, 1962, preserved by Section 536 of the Income-tax Act, 2025; Circular No. 07/2026 was itself issued under Section 119 of the 1961 Act read with Section 536. All TDS and TCS work this month relates to tax year 2026-27 and runs under the 2025 Act and the Income-tax Rules, 2026.
| No. | Due Date | Purpose | Period | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 07-11-2026 | TDS / TCS deposit (non-government) | Oct 2026 | Tax deducted or collected in October, within seven days of month-end under Rule 218(2)(b). A government office paying without a challan credits the tax the same day under Rule 218(1)(a). Falls on a Saturday. |
| 2 | 07-11-2026 | Form 127 (buyer declarations) | Oct 2026 | The collector delivers one copy of each no-collection declaration received in October to the Chief Commissioner or Commissioner, under Rule 212(3). Falls on a Saturday. |
| 3 | 14-11-2026 | Form 132 (TDS certificate) | Sep 2026 | Certificate for tax deducted through the challan-cum-statement route in September (rent, property, contract or professional fees, virtual digital assets). Form 141 for September was due on 30 October, and Rule 215 allows 15 days after that. Falls on a Saturday. |
| 4 | 15-11-2026 | Form 131 (TDS certificate, non-salary) | Q2: Jul-Sep 2026 | Within fifteen days from the due date of the quarterly statement under Rule 215, that statement having been due on 31 October under Rule 219. Download from TRACES. Falls on a Sunday. |
| 5 | 15-11-2026 | Form 133 (TCS certificate) | Q2: Jul-Sep 2026 | Same fifteen-day rule under Rule 215, counted from the 31 October due date of the TCS statement in Form 143. Falls on a Sunday. |
| 6 | 15-11-2026 | Form 137 (book-adjustment statement) | Oct 2026 | Government offices that paid tax without a challan, within fifteen days of month-end under Rule 218(6)(b). Falls on a Sunday. |
| 7 | 21-11-2026 | Income-tax return, AY 2026-27 (extended) | FY 2025-26 | Persons in S. No. 2 of the Table below Explanation 2 to Section 139(1) of the 1961 Act: companies, assessees whose accounts must be audited and partners of audited firms, where Section 92E does not apply. Extended from 31 October by Circular No. 07/2026. Falls on a Saturday. |
| 8 | 30-11-2026 | Income-tax return, AY 2026-27, transfer pricing cases | FY 2025-26 | S. No. 1 of the same Table: an assessee, including a partner or a partner’s spouse covered by Section 5A, where Section 92E applies. Not extended. |
| 9 | 30-11-2026 | Form 3CEAA (master file) | FY 2025-26 | Constituent entities of an international group, by the return due date under Rule 10DA(2) of the 1962 Rules. Part A is filed even where the thresholds in Rule 10DA(1) are not met. |
| 10 | 30-11-2026 | Form 141 (challan-cum-statement) | Oct 2026 | Rent, property purchase, contract and professional payments and virtual digital asset transfers, within thirty days of month-end under Rule 218(3). Includes, for the first time, property bought by a resident individual or HUF from a non-resident. |
On the 21 November return. The CBDT press release and Circular No. 07/2026 (F. No. 225/128/2026/ITA-II), both dated 28 September 2026, extend only the date for S. No. 2 cases, and the audit report date that follows it was 21 October. The department’s tax calendar also shows the forms that are due with the return, such as Form 10E for salary arrears relief, Form 10BA for the Section 80GG rent deduction, Form 10-IA for Sections 80DD and 80U and Form 3CLA for research deductions, on 21 November for these assessees. The circular does not deal with interest under Section 234A, so pay any self-assessment tax still outstanding before you file. A return filed after 21 November attracts the fee under Section 234F of the 1961 Act: ₹5,000, or ₹1,000 where total income does not exceed ₹5 lakh.
On transfer pricing cases. S. No. 2 applies only where Section 92E does not, so the extension never reached these assessees. Their audit report and Form 3CEB were due on 31 October 2026, and their return is due on Monday 30 November. A constituent entity of an international group also files the master file in Form 3CEAA by that date: the full form where the group’s consolidated revenue exceeds ₹500 crore and its international transactions exceed ₹50 crore (or ₹10 crore for intangible property), and Part A in every other case. An assessee opting for the safe harbour rules files Form 3CEFA by the same date under Rule 10TE(1), and the return has to be on record before Form 3CEFA is furnished.
Property bought from a non-resident. From 1 October 2026, the Income-tax (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2026 added clause (e) to Rule 218(3) and Rule 219(5). A resident individual or HUF who deducts tax on the price of immovable property bought from a non-resident now deposits it through Form 141 within thirty days of month-end, as buyers from residents already did. For an October purchase the first such Form 141 is due on 30 November 2026, and the Form 132 certificate fifteen days later, on 15 December 2026.
Old vs New Income-tax Form Numbers
The certificates and statements due this month carry new numbers under the Income-tax Rules, 2026. This table maps them to the forms they replace under the 1962 Rules.
| No. | Purpose | Old Form (1962 Rules) | New Form (2026 Rules) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | TDS certificate, non-salary | 16A | 131 |
| 2 | TDS certificate for rent, property, contract or professional fees and VDA paid through the challan-cum-statement | 16B, 16C, 16D, 16E | 132 |

| 4 | Challan-cum-statement for the same payments | 26QB, 26QC, 26QD, 26QE | 141 |
| 5 | Book-adjustment statement (government offices) | 24G | 137 |
| 6 | Buyer’s declaration for no collection of tax | 27C | 127 |
GST Deadlines in November 2026
November is the second month of the October–December quarter, so QRMP taxpayers pay through PMT-06 and may upload invoices through the IFF, while monthly filers follow the usual cycle. The month also carries the FY 2025-26 cut-off on 30 November. As of 31 October 2026, no Central Tax notification, circular or GSTN advisory has extended any November date.
| No. | Due Date | Purpose (Form) | Period | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10-11-2026 | GSTR-7 / GSTR-8 | Oct 2026 | GST TDS return under Rule 66(1) read with Section 39(3) of the CGST Act, 2017, with the tax paid by the same date under Section 51(2); TCS statement by e-commerce operators under Section 52(4). |
| 2 | 11-11-2026 | GSTR-1 (monthly) | Oct 2026 | Outward supplies for monthly filers under Section 37(1), with the date moved to the 11th by Notification No. 83/2020–Central Tax. |
| 3 | 13-11-2026 | IFF (QRMP) | Oct 2026 | Optional upload of B2B invoices for the first month of the quarter under Rule 59(2), so that buyers see the credit. |
| 4 | 13-11-2026 | GSTR-5 / GSTR-6 | Oct 2026 | Non-resident taxable persons under Section 39(5), and from 1 November 2026 also under Rule 63 as amended by Notification No. 05/2026–Central Tax; Input Service Distributors under Section 39(4). |
| 5 | 14-11-2026 | GSTR-2B generated | Oct 2026 | Auto-drafted input tax credit statement, generated on the 14th under Rule 60(8). Act on Invoice Management System records before filing GSTR-3B. Falls on a Saturday. |
| 6 | 20-11-2026 | GSTR-3B (monthly) / GSTR-5A | Oct 2026 | Summary return and tax payment under Section 39(1) and Rule 61(1)(i); OIDAR suppliers under Rule 64. |
| 7 | 25-11-2026 | PMT-06 (QRMP) | Oct 2026 | Monthly tax payment for the first month of the quarter under Rule 61(3) and the proviso to Section 39(7). |
| 8 | 30-11-2026 | Input tax credit and corrections for FY 2025-26 | FY 2025-26 | Last date to take credit on FY 2025-26 invoices (Section 16(4)), declare credit notes (Section 34(2)) and rectify FY 2025-26 details in GSTR-1 (proviso to Section 37(3)) and GSTR-3B (proviso to Section 39(9)), unless the annual return is filed earlier. |
The 30 November cut-off. Section 16(4) of the CGST Act bars credit on an invoice or debit note after 30 November following the end of the financial year to which it relates, or after the annual return is filed, whichever is earlier. GSTR-9 for FY 2025-26 has been open on the portal since 8 October 2026, so a business that files it early reaches the cut-off on that day. For a monthly filer, the October 2026 GSTR-3B due on 20 November is the last regular return before 30 November in which to take credit missed during the year; a QRMP taxpayer’s last one was the July–September return. Reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase register for the whole year before then. Credit notes for FY 2025-26 supplies must also be declared by 30 November under Section 34(2).
New from 1 November 2026. Notification No. 07/2026–Central Tax dated 27 October 2026 requires a registered person who buys used cooking oil, plastic scrap, tyre scrap, metal scrap or e-waste from another registered person to deduct GST TDS under Section 51. Metal scrap was already covered; the other four are new. These deductors file their first GSTR-7, for November, by 10 December 2026. Notification No. 04/2026–Central Tax (Rate) applies reverse charge when used cooking oil, plastic scrap or tyre scrap is bought from an unregistered person.
Two other points. The option to move into or out of the QRMP scheme for January–March 2027 opens on 1 November 2026 and stays open until 31 January 2027 under Rule 61A(1). And under Sections 37(5), 39(11) and 52(15), a return cannot be filed once three years have passed from its due date. The October 2023 returns reach that limit this month: GSTR-7 and GSTR-8 on 10 November, GSTR-1 on 11 November, GSTR-5 and GSTR-6 on 13 November, and GSTR-3B and GSTR-5A on 20 November 2026.
ROC, Company & LLP Filings in November 2026
Two MCA circulars issued in the last week of October change the picture for FY 2025-26. General Circular No. 05/2026 dated 24 October 2026 allows the AOC-4 family to be filed without additional fee up to 31 December 2026 and MGT-7 and MGT-7A up to 31 January 2027, and General Circular No. 06/2026 dated 27 October 2026 does the same for the cost audit report in CRA-4 up to 31 December 2026. The statutory dates do not move, the circular says it does not extend the time for holding AGMs, and filings after those dates pay additional fees counted from the original due date. LLPs have no November date: Form 8 was due on 30 October, and no LLP relaxation has been issued.
| No. | Due Date | Purpose (Form) | Authority | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 29-11-2026 | MGT-7 / MGT-7A (annual return) | Section 92(4), Companies Act, 2013; MCA General Circular No. 05/2026 | Within sixty days of the AGM; for a 30 September meeting, 29 November, a Sunday. Can be filed without additional fee up to 31 January 2027. MGT-7A is for one person companies and small companies. |
| 2 | 29-11-2026 | PAS-6 (share capital reconciliation) | Rule 9A(8), Companies (Prospectus and Allotment of Securities) Rules, 2014, applied to private companies by Rule 9B(5) | Within sixty days from the end of the half-year April–September 2026, certified by a practising company secretary or chartered accountant. Unlisted public companies and private companies other than small companies; Nidhis, Government companies and wholly owned subsidiaries are outside it. Not covered by the circular. |
| 3 | 30-11-2026 | NFRA-2 (auditor’s annual return) | Rule 5, National Financial Reporting Authority Rules, 2018 | Auditors of companies within NFRA’s remit, on the NFRA portal, for audit reports signed between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026. |
| 4 | Within 30 days of the AGM | AOC-4 | Section 137(1); MCA General Circular No. 05/2026 | Financial statements of a company whose AGM is held in October or November under a Registrar’s extension. No additional fee for FY 2025-26 filings made up to 31 December 2026. |
| 5 | Within 15 days of the AGM | ADT-1 | Fourth proviso to Section 139(1); Form under Rule 4(2), Companies (Audit and Auditors) Rules, 2014 | Where an auditor is appointed or reappointed at the AGM. The October circular does not cover ADT-1. |
| 6 | 14-11-2026 | Quarterly results (listed entities) | Regulation 33(3)(a), SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 | Standalone and year-to-date results for July–September 2026 within forty-five days of quarter-end, with consolidated results under Regulation 33(3)(b). Entities with listed debt have the same period under Regulation 52(1). Falls on a Saturday. |
The relaxation is about fees, not about the Act’s deadlines, so the safest plan is still to file the annual return close to 29 November. PAS-6 is the one company form this month with no relief: since 30 June 2025, every private company that is not a small company has had to hold its securities in demat form under Rule 9B, and the same rule brings it into the half-yearly PAS-6 cycle. Small companies are those with paid-up capital up to ₹10 crore and turnover up to ₹100 crore under G.S.R. 880(E) dated 1 December 2025.
EPF, ESI & Bonus in November 2026
Both contributions for October wages fall on Sunday 15 November. Provident fund compliance now runs under the Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 2026 (G.S.R. 525(E) dated 29 June 2026), made under the Code on Social Security, 2020, which has been in force since 21 November 2025. That Scheme also adds two monthly dates for contract labour. Statutory bonus for the accounting year that ended on 31 March 2026 must be credited to employees’ bank accounts by 30 November.

| 4 | 20-11-2026 | EPF Form XII (principal employer’s abstract) | Wage month: Oct 2026 | Monthly abstract to the Commissioner within twenty days of the close of the month, under paragraph 27(4). Paragraph 27(5) treats Forms XI and XII as furnished where the same details are on the EPFO portal. |
| 5 | 30-11-2026 | Statutory bonus | Accounting year 2025-26 | Credited to the employee’s bank account within eight months of the close of the accounting year, under Section 39(1) of the Code on Wages, 2019, which replaced the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 on 21 November 2025. |
The Employees’ Enrolment Campaign 2026 under the EPF Scheme closed on 31 October 2026. On the ESI side, ESIC has extended its New Amnesty Scheme, 2025 to 31 December 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions
These are the questions we are asked most often about the November 2026 due dates.
It depends on whether Section 92E applies to you. Companies, assessees whose accounts must be audited and partners of audited firms file by 21 November 2026 under CBDT Circular No. 07/2026, which extended the date from 31 October. Assessees who must furnish a transfer pricing report under Section 92E file by 30 November 2026, the date in S. No. 1 of the Table below Explanation 2 to Section 139(1) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. That date was not extended.
No. S. No. 2 of the Table, which the circular extends, covers only cases where Section 92E does not apply. A transaction with an associated enterprise brings the company under Section 92E, so its Form 3CEB was due on 31 October and its return is due on 30 November 2026.
It becomes a belated return under Section 139(4) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, which can be filed up to 31 December 2026 if the assessment is not completed first. A fee of ₹5,000 applies under Section 234F, and interest under Section 234A runs on any tax unpaid. The larger cost is often the loss: under Section 139(3), a business or capital-gains loss is carried forward only through a return filed within the time allowed under Section 139(1).
The certificates for July–September 2026: Form 131 for non-salary TDS and Form 133 for TCS, each within fifteen days of the 31 October due date of the quarterly statement under Rule 215 of the Income-tax Rules, 2026. Government offices also file Form 137 for October. The date is a Sunday.
Yes, until 30 November 2026, unless you file the FY 2025-26 annual return earlier. Section 16(4) of the CGST Act fixes that date. For a monthly filer, the practical vehicle is the October 2026 GSTR-3B, due on 20 November, because the November return is filed in December. A QRMP taxpayer’s next return covers October–December and is filed in January, after the cut-off.
The Act’s date is 29 November 2026, sixty days after the meeting under Section 92(4) of the Companies Act, 2013. MCA General Circular No. 05/2026 dated 24 October 2026 allows MGT-7 and MGT-7A for FY 2025-26 to be filed without additional fee up to 31 January 2027; after that, the additional fee runs from 29 November. One person companies and small companies file MGT-7A instead of MGT-7.
Unlisted public companies under Rule 9A(8) of the Companies (Prospectus and Allotment of Securities) Rules, 2014, and private companies that are not small companies, which Rule 9B(5) brings under the same sub-rule. Nidhis, Government companies and wholly owned subsidiaries are outside it. The form reconciles the share capital for April–September 2026 and is certified by a practising company secretary or chartered accountant. MCA’s October relaxation does not cover it.
By 30 November 2026 for an employer whose accounting year ended on 31 March 2026, because bonus is payable within eight months of the close of the accounting year.
Not by itself. The GST, income-tax and MCA portals accept filings on every day, and no notification has moved the Sunday dates this month: 15 November for EPF, ESI and the TDS certificates, and 29 November for PAS-6 and Form OPI. Where payment depends on a bank working day, finish it on the Friday or Saturday before.
All the TDS and TCS dates: the 7 November deposit, the Form 132, 131, 133 and 137 dates and Form 141 on 30 November relate to tax year 2026-27 and run under the 2025 Act and the Income-tax Rules, 2026. The returns due on 21 and 30 November, Form 3CEAA and the other return-linked forms relate to FY 2025-26 and stay under the Income-tax Act, 1961.
Three Checks for November 2026
First, confirm whether Section 92E applies: one transaction with an associated enterprise moves the return to 30 November and brings Form 3CEAA with it. Second, reconcile FY 2025-26 credit before filing the October GSTR-3B on 20 November, since nothing claimed after 30 November counts. Third, a private company that is not a small company files PAS-6 by 29 November with no fee relief, even though its annual return can wait until 31 January 2027 without additional fee.
