Commercial Pest Control Operator Licence - Overview

Commercial pest control operations involve the application or dispersion of insecticides, including fumigants, in various premises and lands for commercial purposes. These operations address pest-related concerns in households, public areas, and private spaces. While excluding private use, these operations play a crucial role in maintaining hygiene and health standards. The term ‘Pest Control Operators’ refers to individuals or entities responsible for undertaking pest control operations, ensuring safe and effective practices.

Aspiring pest control operators must initiate the licensing process by submitting Form II. The application fees prescribed for Form II is Rs.1,000 for each operational site. Once granted, the license remains valid for a span of five years. To continue operating legally, operators must renew the license through Form III.
