What is the process of registering a company online?
Companies can apply for their registration through the online SPICe+ form available on the MCA website. The form is divided into two parts- Part A and Part B.
Part A : of the form is filled to reserve the name of the company. For this purpose, you need to select a name that is valid, and in pursuance of Section 4 of the Companies Act 2013 and Rule 8 of the Company Incorporation Rules 2014. Also, It should not be visually or phonetically same or similar to the name of an existing company or a registered trademark and should not show the patronage of the government in any form. The names must not be obscene, vulgar, offensive, or undesirable in the opinion of the Central Government. After you have selected the name, you may file an application for its reservation through part A of the form, the application fee for which is Rs.1000, if submitted individually.
Part B : of the form should be filled out and submitted within 20 days from the date of reservation of the company’s name. This part contains the online application for incorporation, along with ten other applications for related services and registrations. The government has allowed a zero filing fee for SPICe+ upto an authorised capital of Rs. 15 lakhs, beyond which Rs.500 shall be charged. - Utility bills (telephone/ electricity/ water/ gas bill) not older than 2 months, as the proof of residence at the office address
- Proof of Identity and address of the applicant director
- Stamped and notarised rent agreement and NOC from the landlord if the property is rented
- Forms DIR 2, INC 9, and INC 14
- All the documents and the application form needs to be signed by the DSC of the applicant director.
