The Government Fee: The Trade Mark Rules 2017 prescribes the amount of fee to be paid to the office of the registrar of trademark along with an application. It is further prescribed under rule 11(5) & 25(19) that the government fee payable to the trademark office/registry may be paid online through the payment gateway provided at the website (ipindia.gov.in) of the Controller General Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. The applicant also has the option to pay the prescribed fee by way of Demand Draft or Cash at the counters of the Trademark Office.
